Your Pregnancy Care Plan
Every pregnancy is unique, and Dr Lauren customises your care schedule based on your needs. However, a typical antenatal appointment schedule includes:
- Every 4 weeks until 28 weeks
- Fortnightly until 36 weeks
- Weekly until your baby is born
As your dedicated obstetrician, Dr Lauren carefully plans her leave in advance. If her leave is near your due date, you will always be informed well ahead of time.
Ultrasounds Included in Your Obstetric Care Bundle
High-quality ultrasounds are an integral part of your care. These include:
- Dating ultrasound (if not already performed)
- Growth scans at 28, 32, and 36 weeks
- Ultrasound at every appointment – Dr Lauren performs in-room ultrasounds during every check-up, allowing you to see your baby grow. You may even get beautiful 3D views of your baby’s face!
Postnatal Care & Baby Support
Dr Lauren is passionate about supporting new parents on their journey into parenthood. That’s why she works alongside Carolyn and Olivia from Baby and You, experienced Sleep and Breastfeeding Consultants. Included in your Obstetric Care Bundle are:
- 1-hour postnatal planning session (between 30–34 weeks)
- Two in-home postnatal visits (each 90 minutes) – Helping with:
- Breastfeeding support
- Settling techniques
- Newborn sleep guidance
- Bonding and baby care
